This kind of tour is known as voluntourism, and this industry is growing fast. WYSE Work Abroad is a trading association for the voluntourism industry. This association is one of the sectors of WYSE Travel Confederation dedicated to improve the youth travel industry. The most important program for WYSE Work Abroad is World Youth & Student Travel Conference (WYSTC). WYSTC is the annual conference of WYSE Travel Confederation to improve the youth, student and educational travel industry. Over 450 organizations from 80 different countries participate this conference and attend exhibition, workshops, and meetings. This event gives big influence to both the voluntourism industry and other youth travel industries. By attending this conference, the voluntourism industry can expand network with different travel industries, create new business opportunities, and understand the global trends. Communicating with different travel industries give the voluntourism industry to see itself from different angles. This is helpful to develop the industry and important to keep adjusting to the trends.
